Hotel Reservations

Tuesday, June 24th, 2014

LIMITED TIME OFFER:

We have reserved a block of rooms at the nearby Hilton (Houston Plaza / Medical Center) at a reduced rate. Please book your room as soon as possible: this special rate will be available until August 14th or until the group block is sold-out, whichever comes first. Click here to reserve your room at the Hilton!

There are 10 “King” rooms (with one big bed) available, but there are also 5 “Double” rooms (with two small beds) available for any attendees who’d like to partner up and split the cost.

The Hilton is literally next door to our conference venue (see the map below), and we’ll be inviting everyone to the Hilton’s bar and lounge on Saturday night to unwind after the panels .

look how close they are!

While there might be comparable room rates at other hotels further away, we strongly encourage you to take advantage of this offer from the Hilton. Houston is a vast, sprawling city (the fourth largest in the U.S.): it is not particularly pedestrian-friendly, and there are few options for cheap public transportation. Why pay extra (for a rental car and parking) when you can stay across the street from the conference venue?

If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to ask.

Keynote Speakers

We are very pleased to have Bruce Clarke of Texas Tech University and Donald Pease of Dartmouth University as our featured keynote speakers.
